Summer is almost over. I’m wishing I had one more trip to the beach planned. Instead of dwelling on that I’m enjoying this view of Venice Beach.
Venice beach is brimming with energy and activity. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
Watch: surfers walk barefoot on sidewalks and jump into the ocean.
Shop: for books at Small World Books, a local neighborhood bookstore. Get to know their in-house cat, Conan. Look for vintage print t-shirts on the boardwalk stores.
Eat: grab a drink and snack right on the beach at Sidewalk Cafe, or take a long stroll to Gjelina.
