Reading Terminal Market is heaven for food lovers. It’s been around for more than a 100 years, 114 to be exact. It’s full of local food vendors, and many other vendors that specialize in housewares, jewelry, and crafts. It even has a French linen vendor.
It was easy to tell that when people are passionate about what they do, it shows in their products. Hope you enjoy the photographs below. And if you are in Philly, make sure to stop by the market. There is something for everyone.
Sfogliatelle at Termini Brothers Bakery: stretched dough brushed with fat, and rolled to create layer upon layer of melt in your mouth, crisp pastry dough filled with sweet orange-scented ricotta.
