New Orleans: Commander’s Palace

It seems that in the preparations for my travels I forgot to schedule this post for Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. I almost thought about just letting it go and not posting it, but it just so happens that Commander’s Palace has the best kept secret in town: 25 cent martinis with the purchase of any entrée during lunch! So there you go, the secret is out. If you are in NOLA, don’t miss on this landmark restaurant (built in 1880) featuring creole cuisine in the Garden district.

I have loved cooking and baking since I was 5 years old. It was the one activity that I would share with all my extended family. Like most people, I love traveling. I love visiting the markets, exploring unknown ingredients, and bringing them back home with me for inspiration. I find that recipes with simple and pure ingredients yield the best results.
