It seems that in the preparations for my travels I forgot to schedule this post for Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. I almost thought about just letting it go and not posting it, but it just so happens that Commander’s Palace has the best kept secret in town: 25 cent martinis with the purchase of any entrée during lunch! So there you go, the secret is out. If you are in NOLA, don’t miss on this landmark restaurant (built in 1880) featuring creole cuisine in the Garden district.
No Longer the Best Kept Secret in Town
25 cent Martinis: Cosmopolitan and Melon Martini
Ja ja ja! Memories of El Topaz!!! 😉
Oh yes! Only I wish their martinis had been 25 cents each! We kept that place in business!
Truly an eating palace. I love your pictures. I have yet to try the martini lunch, but hope to soon.
